If you’ve ever done some desperate last minute cramming, you’ll remember watching a lot of ACDC Leadership videos taught by the amazing Jacob Clifford aka Mr. Cliff. Well, it’s time to rejoice because he is back and he has teamed up with a fellow teacher, Adriene Hill, to take a CrashCourse in Economics.

The videos are light hearted in tone and teach a variety of academic concepts in a playlist consisting of 26 videos. They are also peppered with a variety of pop culture references (mostly American, but you’ll identify a few) to make the studies engaging and relatable.

Here are three of our favourite videos from the series:

  1. Intro to Economics

The first video tells you what you can expect from the course and defines economics. Good question. It talks about how the subject isn’t all about money and stock markets and trade. But more about it’s about people and choices.

2. Income and Wealth Inequality

Is income and socioeconomic inequality a problem? What can be done about it? This video stresses on these topics in a simple and effective way.

3. The 2008 Financial Crisis

The 2008 Financial Crisis was a landmark event in the history of economics. So the better we understand what happened, the richer we will be from the experience. The video and the discussion that follows in the comment section are enlightening and something every economics student will benefit from.

So go ahead and indulge in these fun lessons. You can also leave your comments below and tell if you’d like us to share more interesting Economics tutorials from across the internet for you. We would be happy to do so. All the best!
